Boy, how I wish. Usually I run up early May, but I am swamped.
-
There are a few anglers out on the Grand in inflatable dinghies every spring.

So much for doing any fishing. This weather has just been god awful. I had hoped to take a break from tackle making to do a little fishing with George. Rain, high water and mud. Then sun, more rain, and repeat. Maybe we'll try to play hookie on Tuesday.

Two great local tackle shows and swaps coming up. Sunday, March 10th. you have 2 choices. Ft Erie at the Leisureplex is the Niagara Outdoor Show. Second option at the Ancaster Fairground will be the Hamilton Bassmasters show and swap. Ugliboys Baits will be present at both. Not sure hoe we are going to clone ourselves🙃.
-
We will be at the show with bells on. Of course, will be fashionable as always😛

No run out west. Horwood again this summer and maybe eastern Ontario

My goal is 2 days of fishing per week. If the bosses will let me?

Hey Bill. Those ponds in Waterford have seen a lot of pressure the past 10 years. Hard to find a decent bite anymore ( according to sources from thattaways)

This New Year has sucked locally. Maybe some of you lightweights might get away with fishing on 3", but us larger types..... If nature can't give us an ice season, maybe she could give us back the soft water.

It sure was a great day.

We will be there with our goodies

A lot along the creeks and roadside ditches through Lincoln, West Lincoln, and through the Grand R. and Welland R. watersheds

Phragmite grasses have been around a long time. Nothing new in this. Same with loosestrife, polkweed, yellow iris, rock snot, etc... Once established you cannot turn back the clock.

"Chinese fire drill" One reels in the fish and the other goes tumbling down the hill with the net.
