Had a shack like that for a while. Lots of memories. It became too much to haul around once the kiddies showed up though. My 2 man Fribill is perfect.

I will be heading up to a cottage this Saturday with the family. The place is called Opeongo Mountain Resort, on Lake Clear, in a town called Eganville, near Renfrew. Never been there, but we have been to the area several times. The lake has all the species I typically target. Also, the cottage has satellite and air, to keep the family happy! Hopefully I got some good pics to show off when I get back!

Last year, we had 2 families, so we split on it. Just us this year, so my wife and I will have to settle for a 16' with a 15hp!😀 Plenty of room for us 2!

Glad you got to get away with the family Bruce. I definitely liked having a pontoon to fish from last year, but a little too pricey this year.

We managed 5 Sunday morning on Martindale Pond, using dollar store corn.

My cats take care of all the critters. The only rats I get are dead ones! They even got Peter rabbit this summer!

Unfortunately, something will have to pay for CERB. This is what we will be seeing for the foreseeable future. All things costing more.

I can't keep the rabbits out either. I've got 3 for sure, probably more, and they get in everywhere. The cats used to get them, but they are getting old..... I'm thinking I will put some copies of my rabbit recipes around the garden, and see if they get the hint!

I would rather buy them from you as well, if possible. I have a nice little 15x15 patch that keeps me and the family in fresh greens all summer. Nothing beats a fresh tomato sandwich!
