  1. My wife is looking at renting a cottage/house on lake simcoe for a week in the summer. We're not going through an outfitter, but just renting from a property owner. Anyone ever fish there in the summer? If so, any recommended areas to stay (i.e. Innisfil)? How is the fishing? Perch? Smallies? Pike? Any help would be appreciated.
  2. What were those little red pair of likely spawning fish?
  3. I'm not buying downed line. Power didn't come on until 7pm. Of course right after I leave to go grab a battery aerator for my fish tanks. It was out when I woke up at 6am, so 13 at least 13 hours. I've never seen the power out that long over a pole being down.
  4. I saw you posted on Kijiji as well. Kudos to you for going the extra mile to help a fellow ice fisherman out
  5. I had to renew my boat registration in the last year or two. Process was pretty simple. Can't recall if I actually had to pay anything though. I know I had to take a picture of the boat and email it to them though.
  6. Way too many boats out there this year. Love being pushed into 5 feet of water because someone doesn't want to move from "their" path. Happens all of the time, so I try to avoid shared spots as much as possible. Lots of small walleye (6"ers) being caught this year. More so than I have ever caught.
