they are the primary chinook lure here in sault saint marie, never heard of them till i moved here

    3. Seanook

      Seanook

How would you present them? Some kind of jigging pattern?

    4. jordanl

      jordanl

toss them like a spoon, they flutter pretty nice actually, they are heavy so they get to the strike zone but a light reel in flutters them, and they come in glow so i figure it would be better then a salmon spoon when fishing places like port, just wondering is anybodys used them

  5. looks like il be moving back to st.catharines just in time for prime salmon season

haha, couldnt believe it, 50 kms north of sault saint marie there is ice as far ass the eye can see on superior, saw a guy in his hut out about 300feet

  11. that moment when you spool up with new line.. thread the line on your rod, get your whole float set up on, and then notice the line is twisted around the eye and you have to re-do it all

+1 for the sufix promix! best mono I've ever used on a pin. Difficult to find retail but can still be ebay'd

  13. did i make a mistake? whats so bad about bushing centerpins?

    1. ChefMick

      ChefMick

Its a good reel to start off with, and you will get fish. as time progresses and you drift next to someone with a more advanced reel you will notice that thier drift will take off 1st as the precision bearings are smoother.

  14. well, finally got myself a centerpin.. gotta love sales;)

  15. grt looked pretty busy tonight, i think il be finding my way down there sometime this weekend should be fun
