  1. Hmm mustard? My wife started putting that on spareribs before cooking and I thought she had gone crazy but turned out pretty good after basting after grilled with BBQ sauce. In the unlikely chance that I get a turkey this year I will likely deep fry it, but this recipe looks intriguing.
  2. Picture of property at first glance doesn't look overly promising, no turkey sign, no pictures, unless I'm missing something I'd say move on to greener pastures.
  3. Planning on heading out for opener myself, gotta ask, what is the mustard for? Hotdogs? LOL
  4. Oh crap, you just jinxed us! Ha, hope you are right!
  5. LOL, yes one man's food is another's poison! I don't think I've had the pleasure of Koch's beer. Were those "tasting notes" printed on the can? "Tastes worse than it smells, musty, musky murky, not unlike swamp water" LOL Terrible of those guys to take your beer, Smerch! Didn't mind cheap beer but always stuck to Five Star back in the day.
  6. Made a run across the boarder last week, filled up the Yukon and 6 Jerry Cans, figured I saved $105, plus $25 for case of beer! Smerch, I remember picking up MIlwaukee's Best back in the day at Tops for $4.99 per case, back in the late 80's early 90's. Nasty stuff though, I don't think they actually brewed it, just mix water, beer flavouring, some alcohol, then into the can! Also picked up a chocolate bar at duty free, couldn't resist..lol!
  7. Was lucky here in Grimsby, clouds started to clear just before 3, pictures don't do it justice, way cooler than I could imagine! When it was totally covered and you could look at directly, it was totally surreal!
  8. Is this a single shot or holds a couple??

  9. Hey Smerch, I helped my father with this last year when he turned 84. The hardest part of the test for him was drawing the face of the clock with numbers and the hands pointing to a set time of 10 minutes after 11. We practiced that before the test, he actually found it difficult to do that initially but after practicing a few times no problem. Most kids would draw a cell phone and write 11:10 on the front of it. lol You'll do fine. Unfortunately it does cause a lot of stress.
  10. Picked up my son's Mallard from Gunner today. He did a great job as usual. Very unique pose and base, the picture doesn't do it justice. My son was very pleased! If you ever want professional taxidermy done, Gunner does an awesome job.
  11. Hey Smerch, sorry to hear you are in this predicament. I would be very hesitant to let any of their representatives in your home or to sign anything provided, without having a lawyer review it first. In my experience anyone that wants to see you face to face is because they want to sell you something, or talk you into something. Just playing devils advocate but they could agree to reduce the monthly cost if you re-sign a new agreement with them and in doing so you could possibly lose out on the class action lawsuit and be locked in for an even longer period as an example. These parasitic losers prey on decent, trusting people. They are one step away from the lottery scammers, grand children scammers etc. Too lazy, stupid and immoral to make an honest living, so if they are coming out in person it is likely to try to pressure you into something to their benefit. You might already know this but I just took a peek at that class action lawsuit and it states under the FAQ section that you might qualify for a lease cancellation, and if you don't qualify for a total cancellation then at least a reduced buyout option along with a cash settlement following the claim process, so it might be worth holding out a bit longer as it looks like it is pretty far along. If no one has any direct experience with having dealt with this group I'd be willing to do a bit more research this week if you want. A couple years ago I witnessed Enercare tell my father that he needed to replace his air conditioner at a cost of $4500, the service agent didn't even look at it, he just played with the thermostat and then looked at the furnace, then just said based on it's age it was finished and needed to be replaced. I asked what his service contract he's been paying for covered and he said diagnostics, and service, so I told him to run diagnostics on the unit like he is supposed to. The guy was annoyed, I went out with him while he hooked up testing gas, and it was leaking at a contol valve, which a new O ring fixed along with an $800 coolant re-charge My dad was ready to sign up for a new air conditioner on the spot, trusting the guy. He was just lucky I happened to be there, and they are viewed as a somewhat reputable.
  12. That is the first time that I heard the full story as well. I didn’t realize that they made it out into the Niagara. River and down to the intakes. Hard to imagine that they wouldn’t have realized there was issue as soon as entering the water having dove their before. Sad for sure.
  13. Started a batch of my famous Christmas soup today! Hopefully it tastes better than it smells! LOL
  14. Amazing video! I used to dive Chippewa Creek a lot back in the early 90's unfortunately I never did dive the river byt wish I had. It looks a lot more interesting than bouncing over old wrecks, shopping carts and bicycles! Thanks for sharing.
