  1. Battery went flat because you got money back.
  2. The main thing will be getting to used to the casting and control of that fly line. See how the three spots I plan on fishing go. Going to be condition dependent for sure. Definitely planning for panfish, but they'll be more active in later May.
  3. Those streamers aren't bigger than the two woolly buggers. So may be ok and the largest I should go. Best way to learn is by doing and making mistakes. Eventually this 4wt will be dedicated for a certain style of fishing. Looking forward to trout opener, that could include chubs, shiners, suckers and ?
  4. I settled on a 4wt 8'6" combo. And bought a bunch of flies to start with. Not looking for anything large. Just anything that'll hit these flies. Especially on dry flies. Half the fun will be seeing which ones catch the most. I know presentation is a large part of it, but still....its just about fun and discovery.
  5. Here is one with kayaks.
  6. Did they catch anything?
  7. I'm sure the catfish aren't complaining.
  8. Is the tinner on top of the wheel wells? How wide is the tinner?
  9. Mostly would like to see how well it fits into the bed. Any kind of boat really. Length would be 12' - 14' Could be slim profile like kayak / canoe or squarish like a jon boat / cartopper aluminum. Maybe still need the bed extender from the hitch for extra security.
  10. Just wondering about limitations to lengths/widths in your situation.
  11. Walleye in the sky keeps on smiling.
  12. I'd imagine its done by now. Any reports if it was successful, if it happened?
  13. This is where barbless is good to go. If a bass they'll throw the lure easier. OOS just means you cannot target (specie) and you have to release them if caught.
  14. Even if a CO from MNR couldn't make it out, OPP would be next in line to investigate.
  15. Before reporting, you'd have to have a date, time, location, the offense, suspect(s) description and the vehicle model with license plate # to make it legit. It depends how badly you want to serve justice. Most likely why most don't want to bother. The hassle and possible escalation from the confrontation.
  16. Did you get enough information on the suspect?
  17. I don't have any children, but always look back and was grateful when my father took my brother and I out fishing. This was usually a Sunday thing and trips "Up North" for long weekends and summer vacations.
  18. Any highlights to share about the what's on the agenda for the year? Maybe if people knew what's in the meeting, it may encourage them to show and possibly join?
  19. It was an FYI to Smerchly about walleye not being open on Lake O until 1st Saturday in May, but open year round on Lake E.
  20. On another similar note, never open emails you are not familiar with. Look at the receipients....most likely a variation of your email. If something comes in that may seem legit (they're sneaky like this), NEVER click their links. In the past year I've received a dozen on so similar emails claim they've hacked my computer and have all my audio and video recordings of myself on pr0n sites. They want a typical 1200 in Bitcoin. Jokes on them as I don't have a camera or microphone on my computer. Just report anything suspicious as PHISHING. I doubt anything is done except blocking that one email. Have two emails. One for junk stuff (like forums, subscribing to newsletters, buy//sell sites, etc) and one for legit/admin stuff that's important enough to attach your real name to. My legit one never has had junk emails and such.
  21. NEVER call the number that claims it will help you. 99.9% likely its the cause of the problem. If in doubt, look up the number online (another computer or cell phone). See what comes up.
