It is going to be Sunday July 29, 2012 Millers Creek Marina - Niagara Parkway - Fort Erie All proceeds are being donated to 'Big Brothers - Big Sisters' this year. Adults - $60 Kids (14 and under) - Free This event is a 'fun' event and we would like to keep it that way. We just ask that everyone follow the rules and everyone has a good time. The purpose is to raise money for a good cause while honouring a good friend who is no longer with us. Anyone who has participated in this event before knows that the prizes are fantastic - Having said that, it helps huuuuge if people pre- register - That way we can plan prizes etc Last year we ran out of shirts (big sizes) because we had an overwhelming response but everyone signed up the day before hahaha. I will post the rules for the event - Any questions please feel free to ask ! rippinlipsfishingteam Posted July 15, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 Rules / Registration - Please follow all fishing regulations -Smallmouth or Largemouth Bass Only -Lake Erie or Niagara River Only - Competitors may fish from shore or boat - if fishing from boat anglers may have as many competitors on board as safely feasible -Adult division and kids division will be separate from one another -Biggest fish per division wins first place, followed by 2nd and 3rd - All other competitors will be entered in draw for prizes (everyone leaves with a prize and the more people that pre register, the better the prize table is) Anglers must be registered prior to fishing the day of the event For those who dont pre register - registration will be set up at 7 AM - We would like to stress live release for the event ! However there will be no dead fish penalties. All competitors must be weighed in by 3 PM - no late fish will be accepted. Anglers can weigh fish in as early as 1 PM. All competitors will recieve a tournament shirt however to ensure you get a shirt, pre registering is best ! Good luck !
