Finally got out for my "Bass Opener" on Erie this Saturday and what a day it was! Launched at 7.00 at the Palmwood and was having lunch at Sneakers by noon. Landed well over 20 smallies and probably lost another dozen or so. Most were in the 2 - 3 lb range and the biggest was pushing 5 lbs (didn't have a scale but it measured a conservative 20 inches and was fat!). Fished in about 7 FOW near Thunderbay.
