The bay can be tough but like you said just gotta grindem out, I was down there 3 times last week with only 1-2 fish a day and then yesterday was a shortened trip and happened to turn out really good! Still no pike tho.... youl find pike are easier to target and get on the line during the opening month of pike season and fall when they are fattening up. i find they are a great surprise while bass fishing though. regardless though great fish. some real hawgs there. and a great eye surprise.
