I use them alot. They are very versitile plastics. I have not tried them wacky rigged yet. In Fishermen just an article on them recently, they offer a variety of sizes. I was impressed to find them at Bass Pro this year.

I have used a similar bait "Bass Assasin Shad" http://bassassassin.com/shop/freshwater/shad-assassin/%C2'> we rig them weedless on a 4/0 or 5/0, they can be fished with, or without weights. I first started using these in florida for snook and redfish, they work very well. I don't fish gear very often, but I tried them in Muskoka for bass a few times and found them effective.

Its bee years since I've thrown a Slug-go. They are good baits. I preffer to use them weightless also on a Texas rig. I make my own soft jerkbaits so that what I use now. Flukes also work well. Same type of lure. designed to mimic an injured bait fish that slowly sinks then sruggles to the surface. Very effective for bass and pike.
