smerchly
Sometimes called worms ....We got another downpour in St.Kitts today and plenty last night . I haven't seen the worms in months , but they are out there tonight ! I grabbed a couple dozen for my upcoming trips to Port for some eyes using 3 way rigs . I like drifting the current there . The grass is also loaded with slugs ! I flattened a few dozen with my foot ! I don't know where they have been hiding these hot dry days with the brown grass an all ! Maybe take the saltshaker to them ? Too bad they don't make a good fish bait !
Tyler0420
You’re right smerch. Don’t think I’ve seen worms all summer. Good luck out there. do you fish a worm harness on a 3-way?
smerchly
Yes , using small spinner blades and doing a "swing" drift , holding the rod high with just enough weight to contact bottom ...been using 3/4 oz. Larger blades use 1 oz. .Can't let it sit in one spot too long as the gobies will rip the worms up. Plastics and small crankbaits can be used as well.
