genec Posted June 26, 2022 Report Share Posted June 26, 2022 Took my son and grandson out this morning to CB in the tin boat - I let them fish while I ran the boat. We started off fishing the shallow areas where I got my bass yesterday, but no bass at all - my son just got a sheephead. Water was choppy, with small whitecaps - we were the only boat out there this morning. Kept working our way out till we finally got to our usual catch area, bouncing around in the waves. Grandson ended up catching 2 bass there - I estimate one about 3 1/2 Lbs and the other close to 4 Lbs. Had to quit after the second bass as the grandson got seasick from the bouncing around. Was real glad to see him get the fish - last year he got the biggest bass of the season (close to 5 Lbs.) Have to try and get out there later in the week with my kayak again.
