smerchly
For true Fish_Dawg , The large white perch have a "bassy" shape to their wide bodies , but the hump behind the head is more perch like . I still remember the large runs of silver bass at Queenston ,Port Dalhousie and also heavy runs at Lake Moody when I was a kid a century ago . I always remove the 'mud line' from the larger white perch as it can taste 'fishy" , if that's a good word for it . I have seen U.tubes of people removing the mud line on walleye too . And you are right , they both taste great ! Tomorrow looks like anothe fine day to get the corn out ......thawing out in the tub now . steelshady
We fished the east pier in the evenings for the last two days, still hot around 7:00 pm! Drifting worms on a three way, caught sheepshead, suckers and bass. Few nice smallies caught each day! Bubba14, Tony and smerchly

smerchly
Just now, Tyler0420 said: Any signs of salmon? lol Any signs of carp ? We could see them in the lake side of the east pier just passed the marina berm rocks ,but they screwed it all up by dumping those tank size rocks there . NOT very pleasing to the eye ..... still looking for a day to try Rennie again .
