Tyler0420
Fished bronte last night with no luck. Went out to 45fow and didnt mark any fish. Talked to a guy that was coming in as I was going out and he said the night before they were smashing them in 25-30fow but tonight was slow. fished bronte over the south shore as the winds were from the south and thought the winds pushing into bronte would bring some fish. Is it ever weird going out at night. The lake was perfect no waves really just some small swells. smerchly
Hopefully the cooler "normal" Sept. temps this week will get them moving into shallow water . My largest king (28 lbs) was caught off Port Dal.in 25 fow .many full moons ago . I expect to hear about the pier fishing very soon . Back then I liked using a large Mepps as I believe the turbulance from the blade and slow retrieve can be still a killer today . What length and model did you buy?? The biggest problem with kayak fishing on the Great Lakes is getting a safe day to go out..Might go out tomorrow on south shore not sure yet.. Dave
Thats the same rod I've got..I have not hooked up on the 203 yet.May be the north winds have pushed some fish onto the south shore..
