genec
I just read that yesterday Mt Washington in New Hampshire recorded a wind chill of -108, the lowest in U.S. history We went up there one summer, and it certainly is a cold mountaintop, but that reading is unreal! Only 5*F. here this morning Gene and the wind was howling ...bitter cold . I'm sure there was another inch added to local ice last night .... Temp. now reads 25*F as the sun shines . Think I'll head out in the a.m. and drown a few minnows....
