Tmall
I've been fishing the welland river for several years now, and I just caught a goby for the first time. The fella I fish with is in his 70s and has been fishing around here for longer than I've been alive, he says it's the first one he's seen. I'm just wondering if it's something to be concerned about. Port_D_Guy
Its a natural expansion from when they first showed up in the Great Lakes. Not sure which lake. so many ways locally they can spread. I wouldn't be concerned. Just kill the ones you catch and feed them to gulls.

Erie and Ontario has them so I’m sure the river is loaded also.
Port_D_Guy
I thought this video would be good here when it comes to gobies (and bass) behaviors. Tmall and smerchly
