I even forgot what it looked like, so naturally I was super curious to see what I left in there, but my dad turned it into his salmon trolling box. Then he says to me that he wants me to look at this "other" tackle box. He goes on to say that his friend Dave gave it to him because one time Dave was invited to a cottage and he wanted to do some fishing. He said that his friend Dave got all brand new tackle and spent a bunch of money for it to never even be used once. In fact, it looked like he spent more time organizing the tackle than using it. And then... My dad says those magic words any son who has ever spent way too much on fishing gear wants to hear... "take it home". That red reel looks similar to the Ambassador reels ..... Smerch, the red reel is actually the Ambassador 4000D And those Mitchell reels STILL hold up even today. I have two now.
