Henley Island Launch Dock

Who takes care of this? The city?

It started off as two platforms attached to make one longer dock.

Then they become unbolted (by somebody) and there were two sections right against the shore. NOT secured in any manner.

This morning there is one section left.

Shameful people who vandalized this public use dock.

Its always these %^&*(* that ruin it for others.

Lots of anti this and anti that out there these days . People need to get a life and smell the coffee .

That was a good launch. I hope they fix it. My buddy and I were just talking about bringing the kayaks there soon.

I believe once its gone, it won't come back. That was the one chance to have something nice.

The smerch, myself and others fought city hall and the rowing club to excavate that area and put in a permanent dock there.

It will be back.

I didn't think the rowing club would want that there.

That dock didn't unbolt itself, so how can it be protected now, if a new one goes in?

Does it get left in over the winter?

No idea. Not down there during the winter.

I see somebody secured that remaining dock TO shore.

Thanks to who ever did that.

I'm sure the boaters appreciate it most.
