Jordan area ...

My minnows that I've had since October were starting to croke so I took them for a ride to Jordan today . I also had some lively red worms from my mulch pile . I started fishing behind the old tall ship  trying to get some perch ....nothing biting there , so I went to the conservation park at Jordan and got a few catfish on the worms . The water is very high again , almost across the road close to the building ....lots of yaks and a rubber raft , some fishing , some paddling the harbour ....very busy place today !

I hope the lake level drops about a foot or so before more damage is done from high winds .

Nice to get out , enjoy the sun and fresh air .....next trip will be fishing for carp.

I also got out today at Jordan for some cats. I got about 8 this trip but the fishing has been more challenging than in past years.

Look at those chunks. Were you floating worms?

Wow ....those cats are brutes Lukefish . I was thinking about those big cats up yonder while practicing with the wee cats ...

If I load up some big circle hooks with LOTS of corn , I can use 3 rods .....

I see some places in USA they allow 2 to 3 rods for catfish from shore.

It would motivate me more for sit and wait type fishing.

1 hour is my limit without a fish.

1 hour that’s it? I wouldn’t get much fishing in if I did that.
