Honey Harbour family getaway

Got away for our annual summer getaway in Honey Harbour two weeks ago. Normally I don't do much fishing there as try to dedicate the week to spending time with the family, skiing, tubing, etc.

 

My two youngest wanted to get out a few times so they didn't have to twist my arm. Caught a lot of bass and a few pike with this one being her personal best and enjoyed rubbing it in with her brother! ha

 

My son was targeting the bass with top water baits, which I do enjoy as well, but rarely do.

Yes , you never forget those younger days. We used to fish honey harbour for pike. I was trolling a J-13 and caught a lovely crappie in a small bay .

It's good to see the fishing is still good there , congrats to all the fishers , looks like everyone had a great holiday.
