I finally got some fishing time in ...not much time because the winds picked up which made drifting tough. I picked 2 doz. worms last night & tried a worm harness for an hour but the gobies kept nipping off the tail end of the  worms. I fished near the pavilion & the wind was a little too strong to put more time in. Rennie has some large equipment at the old seniors building and it's fenced off for parking. The steep hill at the stairway is collapsing & Rankin is driving in steel plates to stop the erosion.

So I headed to CDP to check it out & found the broken berm has nearly filled in the pond side & water was very low, could see the bottom almost everywhere, sad to see this spot ruined from the past lake high water level. Better days ahead .

Yes I used a silver spinner(minnow) worm harness and a fat worm on a 3 way. The strong wind created a large bow in the line which makes it difficult to control the drift. I use small snap swivels to make quick changes for my weights to help from getting caught on bottom  When they built the new walls the barge/excavator raked the bottom exposing more rocks and junk . I think most guys can say they get hung up on bottom more .

I also checked for minnows , it's been 3 years since I failed to get some for my winter tank. They always came in large schools in October .
