It's supposed to tell you the maximum depth your lure reached and the temp. at that depth. I have always wanted to know where my dipsy diver or my jets are running. Like the jets are marked for the depth they should reach. Considering all the variables such as speed, type of line, and diameter, what is there actual depth?
