pike007
Im just wondering if there is pike caught by the old navy hall! Also what other kind of species can be caught!
Guest Gill Finigan
Pike around there are not to common. I've caught a few while bass fishing but not really worth targeting. You can catch some nice smallmouth from the dock. From a boat there are some weedbeds around there that you have better shot at getting a pike or muskie. Caught pike in the weedbed just before the marina before
pike007
Thanks ill keep what you said in mind! Im going to go check it out soon! I have fished there a while back with salt tubes and caught some smallies so ill try those again or should i use live bait. Is there any largemouth? And for the pike do you recommend anything inperticular or just your typical pike lure?
Guest Gill Finigan
regular type of pike lures work. i usually threw a spinnerbait around there. Good for pike and bass. Tubes are always a good pick for smallies and the old humble worm will work. Never caught to many largemouth in the lower river, but maybe that's just me
