smerchly
Il put my two cents in that people do walk their canoes and kayaks from the gate to the water. Seems there isn't any issue with it. What a small world !! As I sat in the waiting room at Krowne today while getting my car oil sprayed , I struck up a conversation with the guy sitting beside me . "Somehow" I mentioned I like to fish .....he says where do you fish ? ...I said Jordan ....and so on ...He was sitting with his wife who I have spoken to in June when I arrived at 8:10 am at the gate to the conservation park to find it still locked . She came out of the house directly across the road & opened the gate ! They own a LOT of property in that area ...all the strawberry fields and grapes . He showed me dozens of pictures of the farm operations and pictures of fish he caught from his trips to California where he learned a lot about planting the ever bearing berries he grows here . It was a pleasure to meet this friendly man & as he left , invited me to drop in a say hello sometime .
Derek0291
Thanks for all the responses. Will be sure to check this area out in spring. Will add a bit of variety to my current adventures on Black Creek and Lake Erie.
