Me and the kids drove around for hours today looking for another place to slip the row boat in besides the recreational canal at Netherby. I'd like to get in the lake below the well discussed gate 12 area but can't find access. I also wanted to try the Welland River at Merrit Island but there's no parking my trailer. Any Ideas? rick Posted August 27, 2004 Report Share Posted August 27, 2004 If you turn south onto Dorchester Road from McCloud Road in the Falls and follow that all the way to the right, it eventually turns into Chippawa Pkwy and there are a few good launched there. If you don't mind driving a bit, there is also a launch around Wainfleet that we use in the spring when we fish for cats and carp. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
