Lake Couchinching Report

Went to couch today. Left around 2:00am. Slow drive through Niagara. Got to Orillia around 5:30. I fished Geneva Park Bluffs first and got my first pickerel of the winter. I put it back. I did'nt know if there was slot size limit. It was about 20". Maybe three lbs Hit just before light on jig and minnow. Had one other tap there and then moved out in front of Airport Road. The perch did not stop biting all day. Most were small dinks. Kept about a dozen good eaters, at times you could look down the hole and see hundreds of perch coming up and down from the depths. Was kinda of cool. Caught them on just about everything. Minnows, grubs, Raps, Russian Hooks, Jigs. Was a good day. Scottydog
