The_Fish_Dawg Posted January 21, 2005 Report Share Posted January 21, 2005 Went for a drive after work today Jordan looked ok (didnt drill there) judging by Chilli's picture & the weatherforcast any day now - gonna giver a go after work tommorow. Martindale Pond, still a aways to go , 2" of very soft slushy ice, plus there's a fair amount of snow on the ice, plus the current. Port D marina - about 3-5 inches of broken up ice - gotta wait for it to tighten up a bit. Bad part of Niagara ice fishing spots, most of them are just sheltered areas of the big lakes, exposed to wind and have some current which slows down the ice making process.
