RJR Posted January 26, 2008 Report Share Posted January 26, 2008 Went to the Port C. this morning and there was a good 6" of ice through out the harbour. Fished for about three hours and only saw a few dinks, but it was sure good to finally be out ice fishing. The entire bay seemed to be ice coverd but not to sure how stable it is. A freighter came in from the lake to the canal and the ice in the harbour did a lot of grumbling, who knows what the ice was doing out in the bay. Yeah I thought so too Tom, But there was one backing up into the canal this morning. Apparently he was coming in for repairs over the winter.
