Proposed Fall Turkey Season 2008 Public Meetings A proposal has been made to introduce a turkey season during the last two weeks of October during which time one bird of either sex (male or female) may be taken in WMU’s 64, 67, 68, 73, 76,77, 81, 82, 84, 78, 89, 90, 92, and 93. Public meetings are scheduled for the following dates and locations: 1) February 11, 2008 @ 7:00 PM in Strathroy at 667 Adair Blvd. Gemini Sportsplex, Wescast Room. 2) February 13, 2008 @ 7:00 PM in Aylmer at the Saxonian Hall - German Canadian Club Hwy # 3 west 3) February 20, 2008 @ 8:00 PM in Woodstock at the Oxford Game and Fish Protection Association (go east approximately 3 miles on 1st road south of Hwy 401 off Hwy # 59) Proposed Fall Turkey Season 2008 Environmental Registry Process To access the Proposed Wild Turkey Season Environmental Registry number 010 – 2429 go to internet web site http://www.ebr.gov.on.ca/ERS-WEB-External/ then enter the key word (turkey) or above registry number. This will give you access to the information and an opportunity to review the proposal and submit your comments directly from the electronic registry.
