edg
Well I finally landed my first "Chromer" - 19 inches of attitude. The interesting thing - I decided to try the sand dock since everbody was crowded on the "curve" south of the boat launch at Queenston. The Steelhead smashed a number 2 Mepps Aglia long in the fire tiger pattern on the third cast. It seemed like it came out from bottom/side of the dock and was under an ice overhang (probably prevented it from seeing me). That morning I had fished the curve just south of the boat launch. I had tried bottom bouncing roe (first time) and a couple of different pink streamers - but no luck. Thought I had a strike, but couldn`t hook it up on a Williams Bully. Can't wait to get out there again. Tight lines to all!

edg
Thanks Reg. I just noticed that I didn't mention that this was Sunday. Couldn't post it last nite since our computer crashed, had to hook up an older one to get back on the net.
