tilbrook Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 eh everyone, new to the board and i love it, lot's of knowledge that's great for a noob like me... anyways, I live near the 12 mile creek and am itching to fish it; problem is, i've really only fished for pike/bass/pickerel up north and don't really know how to fish for cats and trout in the local watersheds.... i've got a 6' IM6 ML rod with a daiwa 150hl reel i'm itching to try..bought it used with 20lb stren braid already spooled. also have a 6'6 ML spinning rod with 8lb mono spooled... so what can I (try to) catch in the 12 mile? which rod would be best? what kinda setup should I use? baits? anything to get me started, thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
