Tim Bromund
Sorry for the late report guys, a buddy and I hit Lake Chautuaqua in Mayville NY again saturday morning. The perch are still slamming everything in sight there. We were on the water at 07:20 and leaving the ice with our 2 man limit (100 fish) at 09:15. We released at least that many dinks back as well to grow up. Better average size than last week with a couple fish better than 10". Same as last week, emerald shiners on a green treadrop, 8-15" off of bottom. 7-8 feet of water. There was a solid foot of good clear ice on saturday, but not sure what these warm temps and forcasted rains might do to it. Tim
scottydog
Hey Tim: Nice fishing buddy. As the season goes you will get into larger fish. When I get back from Nipissing I would like to fish with you on Lake chautauqua. Thanks for the reports. Good fishing. Scottydog
