AwolRJ
I check the weather and the marin reports every night before I go fishing, but some days when it says no wind there is rollers out on Erie. Other days it will say 20 mph outta the southwest and I would think the lake is a right off, but ppl post a report and she calm? Just wondering if there any cams on the peace bridge or out on one of the piers on the lake? I googled i but all I can find is traffic cams. Just hate wasting Gas and time when we couldve just fished the river or stayed home. Was gonna go this morning and try for eyes, but didnt wanna waste a trip, maybe I'll go tonight... Tom Chopin
The iceboom cam is the only one I know but it's just the mouth of the river. Too far away to be any use. http://www.iceboom.nypa.gov/ Only other option is the actual measurements from the Port Colborne Buoy...... http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=45142

jwl
I always found the one Tom is talking about to be pretty good, just click on the symbol for the marker at the Port C can and it comes right up.
