Technosis
Was there a Bass tourney there as usual last Saturday? Did anyone here fish it or know the results? It's a nice place to fish when it's not weed choked.......

Guest Rowaan
Hey guys. the Chippawa Creek Conservation Area fishing derby is Saturday July 5th at 7:00am. Largemouth bass in this productive little lake get to the 6lb range! In this great family-focused event, ANYONE who catches and live-releases a bass (of any size) has a chance of winning one of the Grand Prizes; and there is even a category just for kids! Registratio Onsite 13 years & over - $6.00 plus gate admission. Under 13 years - $3.00 plus gate admission I believe gate admission is $3.50 for an adult. No gas motors on the lake. Bring a canoe or fish from shore, there are some canoes available for rent but you'll need to get there early. Weedless lures will be a good idea to have along because of the amount of weeds in the lake. There will be worms available the morning of the derby. For more information call Chippaa Creek at 905-386-6387 Hope to see you all there.
