Guest chilli Posted February 17, 2005 Report Share Posted February 17, 2005 I worked midnights last night. After getting some sleep today I awoke to sunshine and low winds. By the time I got coffee, tackle from Denis, gas, minnows and got down there, the sun had been covered and the wind was blasting the cold from the west. No doubt by the morning there will be a skim of ice on top again. I fished for about half an hour with micro tubes tipped with minnow dragged on bottom. My son had a pickeral rig with minnows. No bites. At the pipe where that joins the 2 slips together there was a little open water. A fellow there said yesterday was decent but only got 3 dinks in an hour today.
