durkin09
I was fishin' a trib to Lake O and I caught this little guy. Ended up catching a dozen of them over the whole day. I know its a trout but what kind? It might be obvious to some of you but i'm not a small stream trout guy. Any ideas?

durkin09
Thats what I thought they were too but those black circles where the red stripe is threw me off. That is awesome to see, hope they'll be coming back in a few years when they've grown a few pounds.

Those black bars are the par marks, they'll out grow those soon probably by spring, then fingerling stage then out to the lake to grow into huge steelies

Guest canada
With all the minnows around I'm surprised they aren't bigger. Once they make it to the lake they'll start chowing down on the minnow, I see the young ones busting the hell out of the emeralds in the springtime Then they put the pounds on quick
