Guest vidarling Posted February 26, 2005 Report Share Posted February 26, 2005 Hey, Was heading to the inlaws so we decided to stop at Rameys bend. Wasn't long there the kids were squirrelley, No smelt, no anything, does not look like there has been many people fishing there lately. 3 holes were recent but most of the surface was clean snow. There is an ice hut there that is slowly sinking into the ice. Lucky I looked in first and saw that there were three rather large open holes in it and that the ice looked to be only 4-6 inches deep as opposed to 10+ about 30 feet away. The closed in shack must act like a bit of an oven now that the sun is getting stronger. Has anyone else been smeltin there lately? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
