Hacknslash
Ok just got back to Hamilton so I'll post the hardwater pics from Elliot Lake. Fish weren't huge...but man were they tasty! First day headed out to the ice, my son got the chance to see his first ruffed grouse. We had contacted the owner of Dunlop Lake Lodge and he agreed to rent us a sled for the day. Believe it or not he only charged us $50!!! Gotta love the Northern Hospitality! Here are a few pics of the ride into the lake. As you see we basically had the small lake all to ourselves....man was it peaceful! Here is the boy catching his fisrt ever laker through the ice..man was he excited!!! We got home and took a pic of the first days limit. Like I said they weren't monsters, but the perfect eating size. Ate three of them withing 30 mins ofter this pic was taken...mmmmmm good! 2nd day we only managed a few and this 20" laker. We got 4 on the final trip so I only took a pic of the lake and the sunset.
