Gravelly Bay Easter Sunday Report

Hit Gravelly Bay this morning for the first boat trip of the year. Yipeeeee. It was a weeeeeeee bit chilly and a strong north wind. A little skim ice first thing in the morning in sections. Water temp was a balmy 36 degrees and warmed up to 38 degrees a few hours later. Guides kept freezing up on the baitcaster but still managed to get 2 pike on the Live Target Smelt jerkbait. Only two other boats out there fishing for perch, they were moving around a lot so figured the perch weren't on fire either. Still great to be out in the sunshine with a line in the water.

Hey RJR, were you the boat loading in front of me?? I used to always ask guys at the ramp if they were from NFN and they'd look at me like I had 2 heads so I usually don't ask......lol.......

Joe, I think you have the BASSBUG.....good to see! B)
