edg
Dropped by the various lookout points and here is what I saw: Whirpool: still has swirling ice, open water starting to show. Still appears that ice would present a problem, especially to floaters. The Glen: appears to have less slushy ice along the shore. About 10 cars in the parking lot. Hopefully we get more details from one of them later. Queenston Ramp and Drifts: sporadic ice, lots of open water. Looks a lot like the pics LT posted yesterday on ChromeCrushers' Ice condition report. Tightlines Edward

edg
Hey FoG - Sorry Tuesday is out for me, I am in school in Toronto for the next 8 weeks (Monday to Thursday) for my apprenticeship. The good news is that I have every Friday off - so I will be going to the river as often as I can on Fridays and weekends. Look forward to floating and drifting the lower with ya. Edward P.S. - it would appear that Reg is going to have to order more float reels apparently you and I are not the only ones eyeing the one in his display case.
