coreyhkh
Hello everyone I am new here. I am from Muskoka and have moved to London Ontario, I have always wanted to catch channel catfish and have heard the Welland river is pretty good but because I am not from the area I have no clue where to go. I would be fishing from shore, if anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated.
Phranchise
There is some good fishing right near london. Try the park hill conservation area (http://www.ontarioconservationareas.ca/index.php?option=com_mtree&task=viewlink&link_id=6&Itemid=99999999)...pretty sure there are cats in there or you could hit the grand river which has stretches that pass pretty close to london. If you wanna hit the welland river...401 to qew niagara...to 406 south...right on east main...follow until you hit the bridge..turn right and follow until you hit the aquaduct..you can fish the river right there from shore...you could also try in wellandport..not sure of directions though...many more ppl on here that could help you out better.
