drsmooth
"Worst Fishing Spot Ever". In light of some recent posts I figured I would ask this.... Everyone has their favourite spot. Nobody wants to reveal the good spots. Will anyone reveal the bad? What is your 'Worst Fishing Spot Ever"???

foremanian_one@hotmail.com
When I was younger there was a spot in Jaycee park where there was this little bay filled with lily pads, wood, maybe old railway ties or something, but it seemed like it should have held all kinds of bass, but I think we literally never caught a thing in there. In hindsight it was kind of a scuzzy area, with foam along the edges of the concrete shore, and once there was a big dead rat or something floating around. Maybe not the most appealing place for a bass after all

rchamber
One of my worst was the Saugeen River, below the abuntments on the north side. We were fishing there as it was the only open space available. Nothing but snags after snags and more snags. Just could not figure out the drift. We went back there later in low water for some summer fishing. Guess what? Someone had put a matress spring right in the middle of the drift with a length of wire attached to it so they could bring it back in. I heard of catching boots but this was definately different.
