Lake Erie help!

Hey everyone, heading down to Turkey Point next week but I've never fished that section of Erie. I'm wondering if the area is good for walleye (perhaps it is too shallow?) I've fished out of Port Colborne where you find 60'+ fairly quickly, but looking at this map, it seems that 60'+ is almost 20km out from Turkey Point....

And what about Erie steelhead, I've only fished for them on Ontario so I don't know if Erie is similar or a whole new beast....any help would be appreciated!

It's been a while since I've fished Turkey Point from a boat... I don't think you're gonna find pickerel out of TP. Not to say they aren't there but I have yet to see one coughed up out of there ( 35 some odd years of fishing down there)

You will find decent smallmouth, probably get the odd pike... and if you have kids.. the perch and rock bass are usually around.

Pickerel seem to be caught towards Port Burwell... if you launch out of St.William's and head south to EC10 area you will get the odd trout there.

Hope this helps.
