heatmiser74
Got down to Bronte around 3:30pm not much going on a few quick hits & a lot of fish jumping. Then the wind switched to the NE & everything shut-down. Things picked up around 5pm, more hits & a lost fish. It really started to get going (albeit for an 1hr or so) about 6:30pm. Fish-On, Fish-Off, Fish-On, Fish Landed this was the scene on the West Pier for the next 1hr. Fishing slowed a little after that. I still managed to hook into a few more fish until I left at 10pm. At the end of the day I went 3/7 (2/5 on J-13 Firetiger & 1/2 on glow Fortune Spoons) & the guys beside went 1/3 (0/2 J-13 Clown & 1/1 on glow Cleo), 0/1 (Fastrac), 2/5 (J-13 Firetiger) & 0/2 (Glow Cleo). A lot of hits but the fish seemed to be just nosing or short striking the bait, even the fish that were landed weren't hooked that good. Only saw 1 fish hooked & landed on the East Pier, 1 by the lone boat trolling & nothing by the guys still fishing.
