loopy Posted December 24, 2010 Report Share Posted December 24, 2010 Twas the night before Christmas I hooked up my sleigh It was time to go fishing out on cooks bay I heard through this website the conditions were right I just couldn’t wait to feel that first bite So at 4 in the morning I hopped in the car 2-3 hours drive is really not far And with minnows in hand I set out on the ice minus 7 degree’s no wind “its quite nice” I punched a few holes and set up my rig As I sat on my pail and started to jig An hour had passed not a perch to be found So I drilled some more holes and started moving around I changed up my rig set my bait a bit higher And wham a few double headers the perch were on fire My pail was near full in an hour or two It was time to pack up No more Minnows BOO-HOO So Remember : With ultra light tackle they can put up a fight A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND KEEP YOUR LINES TIGHT Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
