The last time I was there with the boat, the pot holes were so bad you had to crawl down the road to avoid all the deep ones. I recall about 3 years back a bulldozer scraping it and then running over it to flaten it out. It was good for a couple of years but now its a suspension buster. For the guys going down there with the expensive boat and truck, you'd think this road would be maintained. Paving this road by the Whirlpool jetboats should have been "part of the deal" for using the old sand docks. Is this a Parks Commission or town of NOTL road? Guys who work down there every day through the winter, such as the fishing charter guys must have to change their shocks and ball joints every year.
