ninepointer
Thank you to everyone who came out last Sunday and to everyone else (sponsors, donors, volunteers, MNR, 444 Tourney anglers, City of Pt. Colborne) who make the Port Colborne & District Conservation Club's work possible. For the PCDCC, releasing the walleye we raise is truly the culmination of a year's worth of work. Every summer around this time it is with anticipation that look to see what the seine net reveals. There are so many variables involved in the raising of walleye and so many things that can go right or wrong. This summer's year class was nothing short of amazing, with upwards of 3000 healthy fingerlings going into the Welland River last Sunday! If you want to learn more or to get involved, just send me an e-mail at pcdcc@pcdcc.com. richardl33
Great job, keep up the good work, and thanks everyone who helps out. 3,000 is a good year, i've never heard of so many in previous year. The fishing in the Welland River is getting better every year thanks to this program.
