Backwoods Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 Great time of year to drag some spoons for the "fresh and Silver" salmon. Were out at PC and almost cooked to death under the late morning sun but it was all worth it in the end. We managed to go 5 for 5 biggest being a 25lb "fresh silver, silver" salmon. Great fight this time of year, even better when your deep and the fish has lots of space to do the depth sounding runs. The other four were smaller, two being shakers and two Bows 4 and 9lbs. T.Barry Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 Was out myself today in the waves off of Bronte. Got 20; Brown, Steelhead and a bunch of salmon up to 24.5 pounds.
