The Ketchican Kid
I want to float or bottom bounce for some salmon tomorrow and i have a predicement, my reel is spooled with braid. I am only assuming that it is not wise to float with braid, but i could be wrong. I have another reel spooled with 12lb mono. Is the 12 lb enough or should i get respooled with 20 pound ( or something) . Thanks! K.K
Lund-SS
What kind of rod will you be putting the 12lb mono on? Length? Action?

Tri-Guy
I think that is fine...I use a 12 lbs lead with 15 lbs main line and keep the drag nice and loose.
