Tri-Guy Posted October 5, 2011 Report Share Posted October 5, 2011 Frank, I wouldn't use anything bigger then a #3...maybe that is why I've never caught a big one! Try different retrieve speeds and let the spinner sink to various depths. My favourite bait is a bucktail jig with a worm or a streamer (at least that is what I've had the most success with while fishing there). I've never caught one there in sunlight nor have I seen one caught in the sun, only at night or in the rain. I also won't use any line over 8lbs for trout. When the water is clear there I will go with 6lbs and murky I move to 8lbs. Keep the drag loose because they always hit right at your feet off the rocks, just as your about to pull out your bait out of the water. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

miller Posted October 6, 2011 Report Share Posted October 6, 2011 majority of the browns ive caught has been while spoon chucking and only a few on spinners. but rainbows its opposite ive caught the most on spinners and only a few on spoons so who knows lol.
